| Wow, what a great deal! You can't go wrong. I have a 1620 V-Bottom Lowe that we stack 6 people and gear in, and this motor just impresses me every time we take it out! The larger marine deep cycle battery from WallyWorld powers this motor for hours, we have yet to have this motor drain the battery and we have been out approx 7 hours constantly moving. The torque is great, it goes the same speed whether it is just me or 6 if us. Great motor! Great price! |

| This motor is very srong, lightweight, and easy to use. It may require rewiring your boat, as it did mine but, will deliver all the power you need. I use it on a 12 foot plastic semi-V bass boat; Pelican (older model) to navigate all the smaller lakes where gas power is not allowd. I use two batteries but fished this motor all day with minimum power consumption. It is exactly as advertised and well worth the money. |

I had an older bow mount trolling motor which had electronics go out. Replacing the circuit board was nearly as expensive as this entire new unit. The shaft is the same length and diameter, allowing me to use this new unit with my old setup, at less than half the cost of a new bow mount unit.
This required a bit of work to disassemble the head, remove the wiring, break down the collars and mounting hardware, long enough to transfer from one mounting to another. Took a bit of a chance all would match up, but the results were well worth the effort!
The only drawback I find is the low speed isn't low enough for my taste. If left pointed in one direction, you end up travelling too fast to fish a bank or pier. |
Great troller

| I bought this motor about a month back. It has performed great. It is my primary motor for my 14' v-bottom. Gets me where I need to go and back, without draining my batteries too bad at full power. I would give it a 5 star rating, but I have only had it a month. Great motor. A little tip as well, I got mine for $177 and free shiping. Unless you need it right away wait for the price to drop. |
